Kate saw the same problem repeated throughout her career advising CEOs and boards of large, complex organisations. The teams responsible for managing reputation risk lacked accurate, real time data to measure impact or predict what was coming. They were flying on instinct in situations that demanded precision.She built Traffyk to fix that. The platform uses workforce and public data to help organisations predict reputation risk before it becomes public. Kate's ambition is to elevate the standing of corporate affairs leaders globally by giving them the scientific rigour of real time data to support their decisions at the leadership table. Kate brings more than 25 years' experience across financial services and large listed companies. Her background in applied finance and investment banking gave her something unusual in corporate affairs: a knowledge for data, metrics, and measurable outcomes.

As Co-Founder of Traffyk.ai, my focus is on helping our customers move beyond assumptions and use measurable data to better understand how their organisation communicates, collaborates and responds, especially when early signs of pressure or risk are identified.

My practical priority is how we collect and bring together data, drawing on an organisation's own data alongside external sources like news media, social media and financial markets. Our product is only as good as the data behind it, and that data belongs to our clients. I work with customers to get the right access, in the right way, with a collection layer that meets the security, cyber and privacy requirements large organisations expect, without losing the signals we need. This data layer is the foundation for both our productivity and prediction tools.

Before Traffyk.ai, I spent years leading major digital transformation initiatives at Commonwealth Bank and AMP, and consulting with organisations across Australia and the UK. That experience taught me how organisations of all shapes and sizes move, where work gets stuck, and why clear, practical technology matters.

I'm at my best when I'm helping teams utilise Traffyk to see the value of what they have. Most organisations already hold a rich picture of what's happening across their channels and their people. We help them place  insight at the core of how they work, so decisions are driven by evidence, and effectiveness becomes something they can measure, improve and use to demonstrate true ROI.

Outside of work, life is busy with two young children, but any spare time is spent in the gym, balancing hours in front of a computer with some very analogue weight training. Even then, it's all tracked and measured. You need the data to know how you're performing.

Dan has extensive experience solving challenging problems through machine learning and AI, gained through his previous roles with HSBC UK as their Lead Data and Machine Learning (ML) resource, helping to identify and fight financial cybercrime. He obtained his PhD from the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and UTS in 2016, developing a method for predicting the formation of advanced nuclear materials for safer more advanced nuclear power reactors. He continued his research at Imperial College London, working with leading UK organisations and went on to consult for the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. Earlier in his career Dan was a national professional gamer who represented Australia.

I'm drawn to complex engineering challenges and how they serve the end-to-end needs of our platform and product, from the point of collecting a single data attribute to designing systems where entire solutions operate securely, consistently and efficiently at scale. Making all of this work is where the enjoyment is.

As Lead Engineer at Traffyk.ai, I work across software engineering, solution architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security to design, build, and scale the systems underpinning our unique data- and AI-led platform. Working across our full stack, I make critical decisions on the technologies we use and how systems are architected and securely integrated, always keeping scalability, reliability, and engineering excellence front of mind.

At Traffyk, the core of what we do is securely collecting and processing large volumes of data from disparate sources, consistently and reliably. My role is to design, build, and run the scalable infrastructure and engineering foundations that enable the data team to turn complex communication signals into insights leaders can trust.

Given the level of complexity of what we build, I'm equally passionate about translating the technical into the understandable, helping our end users grasp what is happening within our platform, and how it helps spot threats and opportunities they couldn't see before. Whether deep-diving into technical discussions, collaborating across teams, or presenting our design overviews for discussion in a customer's risk management assessment, I enjoy translating technical concepts clearly, without losing sight of the detail.

As a fast-growing, cloud- and AI-native organisation, I make sure our platform scales as our user base grows. And with years of experience, I enjoy mentoring our team, building capability, sharing knowledge, nurturing confidence and continually improving the engineering practices and systems we've built together.

Outside of work, I am a keen sportsman. Basketball and boxing are both long-standing passions, and as in my professional life, spotting where the threats are coming from and knowing how to respond is part of the appeal of both. Focus and discipline are qualities I value in sport as much as I do in engineering.

People assume research and commercial machine learning are different worlds. In my experience they're the same one. Solving the hardest business problems takes the same rigour, creativity and cutting-edge technique as any research publication.

My PhD at the University of Sydney was where I honed my skills in both these areas.  My PhD thesis was on the active defence of cyber-physical systems, with a focus on methods to prevent malicious attacks using AI. In layman’s terms: inventing intelligent protection for factories against cyberattacks.

At Traffyk.ai I leverage the depth of knowledge and problem solving I gained during my research. Supporting our Principal AI and Data Scientist, and mentoring our broader data team, my work spans strategic modelling, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation. We turn large, complex data sets and AI capabilities into meaningful insights and practical business outcomes. I'm passionate about building innovative products that solve genuine problems and deliver measurable impact for our clients.

My love for spotting patterns fuelled my professional poker playing career and supported me through my student years. Recently, I became the father of a little girl who has given me a whole new perspective on the future and reinforced how important it is to keep humans at the centre of everything we build.

Finian is an experienced data scientist and engineer with a demonstrated ability to combine leadership and collaboration skills with broad technical expertise, to deliver robust, scalable cloud-based data solutions across Traffyk’s client base. He thrives in our fast-paced start-up, data analytics environment, supporting the tech, data and management teams.

I have always been a problem solver, perhaps because I’m a middle child, or because it comes naturally to me; identifying issues and finding solutions is almost an instinct. As a critical skill in corporate affairs, it is no surprise I have built a career in that profession in Australia, the UK and the US.

For more than two decades, I’ve helped management teams and boards build enduring stakeholder relationships, realise their strategic goals, and navigate high-stakes moments through my experience at Warner Bros., Origin Energy and the leading consultancy Brunswick Group, where I fortunately started out.

Throughout, I have always believed one simple thing: no one likes surprises. And now at Traffyk, I am excited we have built the black box to predict reputational threats, before they land, leaving nothing to chance. As Director of Business Development and Communications, I help senior leaders and their advisors head off crises before they cause chaos and understand the power of these insights grounded in real measurement, an organisation’s own data and AI models built specifically for them.

It's the lens I wish I'd had earlier in my career. Corporate affairs has long wrestled with the same problem: trying to shape a narrative, judge a risk, or measure impact, but working from instinct and the occasional survey. Helpful, but always a little behind. We all have a sense that something is happening, but now we can see it, know the source and quantum of it. I am excited to be fostering this different way of thinking: real-time insight, always on, drawn straight from an organisation's own data, a must for all problems solvers!

I love swimming in the ocean, every morning all year round, it’s a passion from being a competitive swimmer when I was young. It provides a challenge as well as space for reflection and reinforces that sometimes the best insights come from taking a step back. And as a mother of a digital native, I’ve earned a fair amount of street cred, working at the forefront of AI application and implementation.

After completing his Master’s of Computer Science at Melbourne University, Jack Joined the Data Science team at Traffyk in February 2025. He has a strong full-stack skillset and is an out-of-the-box thinker. His approach to applying AI, machine learning and advanced analytics to meeting our customers need is rigorous and the outcomes are amplified by his enthusiastic character.

Peter joined Traffyk in September 2025 with experience as system admin and full-stack developer for an agentic SaaS non-for-profit. He has a strong cybersecurity foundation and expertise deploying AI workflows, voice agents, and cloud orchestration. With his new age approach of a hybrid AI and dev coding he provides a good balance of speed, safety and quality.
